Overview
Responsibilities
- Preparing laboratory reagents chemicals stocks cultures and cell lines
- Basic molecular biology (cloning plasmid isolation transformation PCR)
- Multiparameter flow cytometry to phenotype mouse and human cells
- Working with mice including immunization as required by the project
- Preparing samples from human and mouse blood and tissues using sterile technique
- Maintain laboratory records by recording detailed data analyze data and report data
- Conduct lab inventory complete purchase orders for hardware glassware and supplies
Qualifications
- BA/BS in a scientific field and basic laboratory skills required
- Must have basic mathematical data recording computer database data and statistical analysis skills
- Prior work in a laboratory environment especially multiparameter flow cytometry molecular and cellular biology and working with mice preferred
Compensation
$23.13 to $32.85 per hr.
