Your Impact.
We are seeking a detail oriented and experienced Insurance Commission Team Leader to oversee our end to end commission processes. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate timely commission payments and reporting across Property & Casualty insurance carriers. This position plays a key role in driving operational excellence streamlining commission workflows and aligning internal teams with outsourced resources to maximize overall efficiency.

The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills a deep understanding of insurance commission structures and hands on experience leading both inhouse and remote commission teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the entire commission reconciliation process ensuring accuracy and timely payments to agents and employees.

  • Supervise a remote team of 56 commission specialists providing clear direction ongoing support and professional development.

  • Ensure proper tracking and reporting of commissions across multiple insurance carriers

  • Identify opportunities to optimize commission processing workflows reduce errors and improve turnaround times

  • Maintain and utilize systems like Applied Epic (or equivalent platforms) to track audit and report commission data effectively

  • Monitor regulatory or carrier updates that may impact commission processes and proactively adjust procedures as needed

Your Experience.

  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in a commission processing environment with a proven ability to manage and develop teams

  • At least 5 years of handson experience in commission reconciliation preferably within the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance industry

  • Deep understanding of P&C insurance carrier commission structures

  • Bachelors degree in business or a related field

  • Experience with Applied Epic or similar insurance agency management systems is highly preferred

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present information clearly and effectively

  • Solid operational skills with the ability to organize and optimize workflows

  • Proven ability to lead and support a remote team ensuring alignment accountability and collaboration

  • Strong problemsolving capabilities particularly with complex commission processes.

  • Highly organized and detailoriented able to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment

  • This position will be a hybrid office/remote work environment. All computer equipment necessary for the role will be provided to the employee

  • This role requires 5 travel Hybrid 3 days in office. The noise level is low to moderate depending on staff levels in the office and when working remotely noise level will be dependent on the employees chosen work location

  • While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; talk and hear; sit for extended periods of time; use hands to finger handle or feel and reach with hands and arms

  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds
