The Amazon Customer Service Finance team is looking for a Finance Manager to join our growing business to partner with the Worldwide Capacity Planning team. You will work closely with your business partners to define roadmaps identify the right business strategies and provide guidance and reporting. The successful candidate will be a selfstarting contributor with effective business partnership experience and proven abilities to manage complex projects and dive deep into the details when needed. This person will partner with finance and business leaders across several teams to provide strategic guidance tactical direction and decision support.
Key job responsibilities
Provide financial guidance in matters of site strategy and network simplification HC prioritization decisions other strategic initiatives and cost reduction ideas influencing OPEX.
Build and own financial modeling for multimillion dollar investment decisions partnering with the business on inputs and design including designing and managing mechanisms to enable performance monitoring.
Lead and author Monthly/Quarterly Financial Reviews presenting financial summaries and insights to CS Leadership.
Proactively design mechanisms to enable performance monitoring.
Inspect Headcount investments and project prioritization decisions and make tradeoff recommendations to maximize value creation for the business.
Synthesize large volumes of data and present findings to senior management.
Lead crossfunctional workstreams including driving requirements agreement and delivering results gaining buyin from partner teams and designing and executing plans to drive adoption of changes.
Provide mentorship to junior team members and participate in teamwide educational efforts.
5 years of tax finance or a related analytical field experience
BA or BS in Finance Accounting Business Economics or a highly analytical field (e.g. Engineering Math Computer Science) and 5 years of finance experience or Masters degree and 3 years of finance experience
6 years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
6 years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models analysis and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g. financial savings operational improvements or customer benefits) experience
MBA or CPA
Experience working with largescale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL MS Access Essbase Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle SAP Lawson JD Edwards)
Experience delivering forecasting budgeting and variance analysis and data interpretation of results

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
