Bank General Radiographer Oaks Hospital Bank Hours

We have an exciting opportunity for a Radiographer to join our team.

The department performs a wide variety of general radiography and ultrasound. As part of this role you will be part of the oncall team. The department is open between the hours of 88 and working some Saturdays will be required.

Where youll be based

Located conveniently on the outskirts of Colchester the hospital opened on this site in 1994 with plenty of free parking for patients. All of our Consultants undergo rigorous vetting procedures ensuring only those who are qualified and experienced are granted practising privileges which are reviewed on a regular basis.

What youll bring with you

• Professional registration in the UK
• Experience in general radiography
• Knowledge of radiation and patient safety
• The ability to be able to work alone at times
• Excellent verbal written interpersonal and customer service skills
• To be flexible adaptable and be able to demonstrate a patient focussed attitude to delivery of the highest standards of clinical care
• Good knowledge of IT

Essential requirements

• Current HCPC registration
• DCR or BSc in Diagnostic Radiography
• Evidence of CPD
