What youll do

As the Director of Strategy & Operations your charter is to help drive overall business growth within the Growth Marketing organization. To do this you will leverage existing data frameworks to identify opportunities. Youll then drive crossfunctional alignment around those opportunities and report back on whether the initiative worked. This role will have a supreme command on inquarter performance and be heavily involved in our annual planning process. They will also help facilitate quotas spiff creation and execute various operational initiatives to facilitate growth in the business.

This is position is a manager role reporting to the Sr. Director Growth Strategy & Operations.

Responsibility

  • Analyze current trends of the business to uncover key drivers of change and forecast performance
  • Create novel ways to analyze each stage of Sales Development funnel to expand our working knowledge of the customer journey
  • Share insights with crossfunctional teams on a weekly monthly and quarterly basis as well as assist the annual planning process
  • Identify growth levers size the potential impact and present recommendations to leadership
  • Partner with crossfunctional teams such as Finance Compensation Sales and Marketing to drive alignment and on identified growth opportunities
  • Be responsible for functional deliverables of increasing complexity
  • Manage a highly specialized distributed team of individual contributors
  • Deliver projects or work that enable the assigned function to achieve its strategic goals and objectives
  • Influence effectively without authority at varying organizational levels in and outside assigned function
  • Be regarded by stakeholders as a trusted advisor as evidenced through stakeholder feedback
  • Work with senior management to set the short and longrange strategy and resource plans
  • Play a leadership role in contributing to the definition of multidisciplinary strategies
  • Be accountable to ensure Growth Strategy & Operations achieves short and longrange strategic goals and objectives
  • Represent the assigned function at varying organizational levels across Docusign
  • Be highly skilled at stakeholder engagement influence and management.
  • Know how to look beyond the obvious stakeholder group and identify and align other stakeholders who influence or may influence the direction and outcomes of the areas work

Job Designation

Hybrid: Employee divides their time between inoffice and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly inoffice expectation)

What you bring

Basic

  • BA/BS degree in a business/quantitative field or equivalent work experience
  • 12 years of experience overall
  • 5 years of people management experience

Preferred

  • Familiarity with Quota setting SPIFF creation and sales related operations
  • Superb understanding Google Sheets / Microsoft Excel
  • Comfort using SQL techniques
  • Expert knowledge of the Salesforce and the associated Sales funnel
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Experience working with subscription business models
  • Comfort and experience working with globally distributed teams
  • Strong command of team and project management skills
  • Comfort working in a fast paced environment
  • Advanced leadership and management skills to set and manage the direction and work of a larger team or a team of experienced professionals working on highly complex deliverables
  • Consistently models our Management Expectations for others to follow
  • Is a role model of operational rigor and excellence.

Wage Transparency

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience.

Based on applicable legislation the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

California: $171500.00 $277025.00 base salary

Washington: $164800.00 $242225.00 base salary

This role is also eligible for the following:

  • Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of preestablished sales goals. NonSales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
  • Stock: This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
