Location: Fairfax 22030
Pay: $20 $25 an hour Fulltime
Requirements
- Experience in lake and pond management pest/herbicide control or surveying is preferred.
- Experience in the following disciplines are desirable: fisheries wildlife management conservation ecology biology environmental sciences or forestry.
- Valid Drivers License.
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
- Able to swim and comfortable around water.
- Ability to lift 80 pounds on a regular basis.
- Great communication skills.
- Basic math skills to calculate product applications.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Occasional travel may be required.
- Aquatic Pesticide Applicator License preferable or be able to obtain a license within 30 days of hire.

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and treat invasive weeds.
- Visual inspection of stormwater components.
- Mowing/string trimming sites.
- Improving the overall aesthetics of the sites.
- Minor repairs for compliance.
- Implement safety training for field staff.
- Handle administrative duties.
