Job Description

ROLE SUMMARY

As the US Medical Director for RSV adult vaccines the incumbent will be responsible for supporting the US Medical Affairs Lead for RSV adult vaccines in the development and of strategic medical and scientific activities. The incumbent should be experienced with designing evaluating interpreting summarizing and presenting realworld evidence and will be skillful with data visualization and presentation tools to convert complex analysis into meaningful insights. In addition to the analytic component of the position the incumbent will develop and deliver presentations webinars and other communication outlets as needed. The incumbent will gain experience in the increasingly complex adult immunization field on a priority brand for Pfizer.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

As the US Medical Director RSV Adult Vaccines the incumbent will be responsible for executing US medical affairs activities . This will entail the following:

  • Develop and execute a medical education strategy supporting RSV Adult vaccination in the US
  • Partner with crossfunctional teams to ensure alignment of medical education and engagement plan across various channels with medical priorities
  • Provide vaccine medical expertise and support on behalf of the US Medical Affairs team to crossfunctional partners ensuring alignment of internal communications and training around new and key scientific data on RSV
  • Partner crossfunctionally within medical to ensure aligned KOLs activities to gather feedback and input into strategy development and
  • Provide medical review for medical education grants
  • Demonstrate expertise in communication across multiple channels including but not limited to live and virtual presentations in small or large settings and written communication

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers develop and coach others oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.

  • PhD/Pharm D (in infectious disease epidemiology or closely related field) and 5 years experience with additional research training in infectious disease public health epidemiology or closerelated field.
  • Experience in vaccines infectious diseases epidemiology and public health
  • Demonstrated strong work ethic and proven track record of delivering high quality within timelines.
  • Clinical formulary and/or other management experience
  • Managed Care pharmaceutical industry and/or Quality Improvement
  • Data Analytics and/or HEOR activities with demonstrated strong methodological skills (study design data analysis and interpretation) in health services research
  • Demonstrate a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including the ability to influence and collaborate with peers and create business impact
  • Demonstrated track record of high performance and excellence.
  • Ability to analyze define and convey complex concepts.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Wellorganized with the ability to be flexible prioritize multiple demands and effectively lead in a matrix organization.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience analyzing healthcare data
  • Understanding of the complex business environment within the US healthcare system as well as emerging healthcare trends

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $169700.00 to $282900.00. In addition this position is eligible for participation in Pfizers Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0 of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
