Senate Bill 411 merged the Department of Corrections and the Pennsylvania Parole Board. This position is within the Department of Corrections.
In this position you will manage inmates in the parole release process ensuring compliance with relevant laws and Pennsylvania Parole Board policies. Your duties will include interviewing inmates to assess their home plan requirements monitoring drug screening results evaluating home plan investigations and tracking changes in status. In addition you will prepare release orders letters memos and status reports and run criminal histories for any needed cases on the monthly docket. You will also offer comprehensive clerical support including typing memos letters forms and other documents. Strong organizational skills are essential for managing incoming mail including datestamping sorting and distributing inmate request slips as well as preparing outgoing mail.
