Tamatta Mining & Construction is recruiting for one of our esteemed clients seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals for an immediate opening as a plumber at a flyin camp in the breathtaking region of Terrace British Columbia. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a stunning environment while contributing to important projects in the mining and construction industry.

Position Overview:
Tamatta Mining & Construction is recruiting for one of our esteemed clients seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals for an immediate opening as a plumber at a flyin camp in the breathtaking region of Terrace British Columbia. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a stunning environment while contributing to important projects in the mining and construction industry.
Responsibilities
- Perform plumbing and general maintenance to gas appliances and lines
- Maintain plumbing systems fixtures drinking water treatment and distribution system
- Practice and promote company environmental health safety and operational policies and procedures
- Maintain a daily log of activities and system logs as required
- Perform other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the supervisor which may include duties and labour outside the trade(s)
- Work cooperatively as a member of the Team
- Ensure that safety issues are reported and promptly remedied
- Demonstrate safety leadership within a team environment and promote environmental awareness in all work or taskrelated duties
- Maintain a high standard of performance in your duties
- Other duties may be assigned from time to time as required by the Company.
- Minimum of 23 years working in a construction field/camp position.
- Certified Journeyman Plumber (Red Seal)
- Gasfitter B Ticket considered an asset
- HVAC and/or Refrigeration experience or certification is a definite asset to the position
- Solid verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work a rotation schedule and a dynamic schedule.
- Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule.
- Physically able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Able to walk and stand for long periods of time and perform physical labor.
- Ability to maintain a high level of performance over a 10 12hour shift.
- Standard First Aid Certification.
- WHIMS Certification.
- Previous experience working in remote camp setting.
- Proficient in all aspects of plumbing repair and replacement.
