Job Description

Seeking a Project Manager with 5 years of construction management experience for a direct hire role with a leading construction company in Madison WI.

  • Salary: $120K$150K (DOE)
Responsibilities include managing cost schedule and quality of projects while ensuring compliance with company policies.

Must have experience managing steel erection concrete work masonry preconstruction construction management designbuild industrial construction and general construction.

Responsibilities:
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients design partners and other key project stakeholders by addressing clients business drivers frequently visiting project sites and facilitating conversations with the project tea
  • Aid in the construction management process of assigned projects including reviewing client contracts participating in the preconstruction and bidding process overseeing submittals and RFI processes coordinating purchases and resolving issues with subcontractors
  • Analyze selfperform activities with respective groups and lead timely project closeouts
  • Continuously monitor and manage job costs and labor production
  • Participate in recurring meetings with project executives to discuss project financials
  • Closely monitor project cash flow and billings as well as price and negotiate Potential Change Items (PCIs)
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Construction Management Engineering or a combination of formal constructionrelated education and professional experience that meets the responsibilities listed above
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with outstanding interpersonal skills for interacting with members of the companys leadership team client organizations and the community
  • Wellorganized dedicated preplanner and problemsolver
  • Ability to multitask work efficiently both independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced and everevolving environment and learn and adapt quickly while maintaining strong attention to detail and customer service
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Primavera P6 Procore or Bluebeam
Work Environment:
  • Primarily an office environment with frequent visits to construction sites
