Job Description
This position is only available to MCCC students.
The student willassist theBuilding and Grounds Managerwith related duties including general cleaning grounds maintenance building maintenance and HVAC work.
STARTING DATE: May 27 2025
SALARY: $12.20/ hour
REPORTS TO: Superintendent or Designee
WORK WEEK/YEAR: Monday Fridayas determined by Supervisor
HOURS: Up to 40 hours per week
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: High School student with the ability to perform various duties under the direction of their Supervisor. Ability to obtain a work permit. Assist in light construction general labor flooring and tile removal painting etc. Keeps building and property clean and orderly. Performs heavy cleaning duties. Sweeps mops scrubs or vacuum floors. Gathers and empties trash. Scrubs sanitizes and supplies restroom facilities. Dusts furniture walls and equipment. Cleans windows mirrors and partitions with soap and other cleansers. Cleans and polishes fixtures and furniture. Ability to lift 3050 lbs.A motivated selfstarter with strong timemanagement abilities. Able to work quickly and independently handling multiple projects at one time and meeting deadlines. Demonstrated ability to problemsolve. Professional tact diplomacy and presentation with staff students and stakeholders. Record of excellent attendance. Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with administrators staff students parents associates vendors and community members.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: Transportation to and from the MCCC. Minimum C average in classes.
