Job Description
Were looking for a funloving Drama Instructor to join our team for the summer season from June 6 2025 to August 1 2025. Youll lead the campers in dramabased adventures helping them shine both on and off the stage. This is a nonexempt position as defined by the Department of Labor. Seasonal with a typical schedule Monday through Friday from 8:00am 4:00pm.

What We Do:
- We create an environment where kids can explore learn and grow in a creative safe and supportive space.
- We help campers connect with each other building teamwork friendship and a sense of adventure.
- We encourage campers to unleash their inner artistwhether thats through drama music or dancewhile boosting their selfconfidence.
Drama Instructor Responsibilities: As our Drama Instructor youll be the mastermind behind the camps creative magic and will:
- Lead wild and wacky drama games and activities from improv challenges to hilarious skits and everything in between.
- Help campers develop their own characters and take on exciting roles in our amazing productions.
- Guide campers through the entire process of a performanceauditions rehearsals and the big show! (The applause is the best part.
- Make sure every camper feels confident to step into the spotlight while encouraging teamwork behind the scenes (because it takes a village to make a great show!.
- Get creative with props costumes and setsbecause whats a play without a little sparkle
- Keep the energy high the creativity flowing and the fun nonstop!
Essential Job Functions:
- Be responsible for the wellbeing and safety of campers.
- Supervise campers during activities and throughout the day.
- Stay on top of safety guidelines (because safety and fun go hand in hand).
- Dive into all camp activities with energy and enthusiasmespecially the drama fun!
- Be a role model in your attitude behavior and sportsmanship.
- Build great relationships with your fellow counselors and camp leadership.
- Work together with your team to make each day better than the last.
- Be a positive encouraging force in the lives of the campers you work with.
Job Description:
- Provide fun enriching and challenging experiences for every camper.
- Create a safe and supportive space for campers to play perform and learn.
- Treat each child with kindness respect and a lot of cheer!
- Be responsible for the wellbeing of campers.
- Supervise campers during activities and throughout the camp routine.
- Keep an eye on safety at all times.
- Jump into all camp activities with a big smile.
- Be a role model to campers and staff in attitude behavior and good sportsmanship.
- Work well in a team environment and communicate with staff and leadership.
- Be enthusiastic about working with kids (and be ready for some fun chaos!.
- Be adaptable full of energy and able to go with the flow.
- Be available for at least 7 weeks.
- Attend a mandatory orientation to get ready for all the camp fun!

The pay for this position is $19.00 $21.00 per hour. Although this is a good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible compensation at the time of posting Colorado Academy reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range. Any wage differential that may exist for the position does not relate to sex gender or gender identity but relates solely to a seniority system a merit system or relevant education training and/or experience. Medical Dental Vision and Life Insurance benefit programs are available as is a 403(b) retirement plan. Eligibility for all benefit programs is defined by the applicable plan document.
