This is a nonunion positionAre you passionate about safety and interested in executing sophisticated construction projects We are looking for a Project Management Specialist to join our Core Programs team. In this role you will possess overall accountability for assigned Core Projects and for predictable and driven delivery on scope schedule safety environment quality and financial objectives.

What You Will Do:
Establish a safe healthy work environment for employees and contractors by driving accountability for safety performance and by regularly reviewing and communicating policies practices expectations and positive reporting.
Minimize the environmental impact of project activities with accountability for environmental compliance and practices as well as role modeling personal environmental responsibility.
Actively participate in development and management of the scope of work schedule costs and risks of assigned projects to ensure the project plan can be successfully executed.
Understand and effectively use established project management systems and project management practices to achieve positive scope schedule quality and cost results and lead and mitigate risks on each project.
Actively monitor and report on the performance of each project using key performance indicators and taking the vital actions to correct adverse situations or trends.
Leading project teams by ensuring they are appropriately staffed and capable to meet the challenges and objectives of each project and removing barriers to success.
Identify process improvement opportunities and lead and support change initiatives.
Build relationships and collaborate with project partners by understanding their needs through early engagement in decisions and plans that affect them while addressing and resolving issues.
Who You Are:
You have the following education & experience:
University degree in an applicable field or related engineering construction operational or project management training and experience.
10 years of progressively responsible related experience in the pipeline industry with 5 years actively engaged in project management.
Solid understanding of project management methods and techniques PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
Passion for upholding Enbridges core values of Safety Integrity Respect Inclusion and High Performance along with our ways of working.
Able to travel domestically and internationally.
Hold a valid drivers license.

Proven leadership and management capability including organizational and planning skills.

Ability to predict technical and nontechnical risks before they arise and implement plans to manage.
Take immediate and independent action to resolve issues and influence decisions without formal authority.
Conveying a strong sense of urgency and driving issues to closure.
Working Conditions:
Scheduled travel to Company offices regulatory agencies customer offices and supplier facilities.
Time commitments often extend beyond normal working hours.
Must have the ability to traverse terrain typical of industrial construction sites often outdoors during all seasons and at times in inclement weather.
