Company:
The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a MidLevel Project Management Specialist to join our dynamic team in Heath OH.
Position Responsibilities:
Independently develops coordinates integrates analyzes and maintains an integrated plan and schedule to meet program and/or project requirements in accordance with project management industry standards
Performs studies analysis (trend variance impact) risk assessments to determine impacts and constraints involving product development production rates process improvement program initiatives
Creates schedule reports metrics change activity communicates and updates plan regularly throughout lifecycle of program or project
Works to improve project management processes business systems and implement best practices that support project decision makers
Directs all phases of projects or subsystems of major projects from inception through completion
Acts as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives
Assists customers to develop performance recovery plan and ensure all project control systems are in place to support ongoing support to stakeholders
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelors degree or higher
2 years experience managing projects and utilizing standard project management tools
2 years experience working with cross functional teams
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience in a leadership role leading teams or projects to successful completion
Experience with developing and executing operating rhythms integrated program schedules project plans and/or metrics
Experience developing and presenting recommendations to executive level management
Experience with critical business and financial acumen including risk issue and opportunity management to drive performance
Experience as a CAM (cost account manager) using EVM (earned value management)
Project Management Professional (PMP/PMI) Certification
Experience in a production environment
Work Location:
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Travel:
Position may require travel up to 10 of the time.
