Role Description:
Youll be responsible for (Responsibilities):
- Install configure and maintain RHEL servers across dev test and prod environments
- Perform upgrades patching and security hardening
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure uptime and efficiency
- Develop automation scripts using Ansible Bash or Python
- Configure and maintain Red Hat Satellite Identity Management (IdM) and ecosystem tools
- Collaborate with security teams to maintain system compliance
- Manage storage backup and disaster recovery solutions
- Support application teams on Linuxbased deployment best practices
- Maintain detailed documentation of systems and procedures
- Provide oncall support and resolve incidents as needed
- Set up NFS and mount points; configure Cron jobs
- Complex network systems and strong networking knowledge
- Experience administering:
- Unix (AIX) IBM pSeries systems
- Oracle WebLogic / Database Servers
- Progress 4GL / OpenEdge
- Apache Web Servers
- RHEL on vSphere
- Rubrik backup systems
- PeopleSoft Mobius Elastic Search Oracle OBI CVS
- Red Hat performance tuning and support
- Backup/recovery load balancing disaster recovery methodologies
- 24/7 availability and support environments
- Electronic imaging systems
- Application development background a plus
- Ability to work both independently and in a team
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- Skilled in troubleshooting OS database and applicationlevel issues
- Experience interfacing with users and helpdesk for support needs
- Proficient in backup/recovery strategies and network configurations
Youll have (Qualification & Experience):
- Bachelors Degree in related field is required.
