As a QAE you will champion the quality of our features in our development pipeline using both automated and manual tests reporting and verifying defects and signingoff on features and release candidates. You will own authoring and the of test plans and test cases. You will have a significant impact in the quality and delivery speed of our software our business and most importantly our customers. You will work closely with developers product managers and other QA in order to ensure the features we deliver to our customers have a high level of quality. In addition you will also have the opportunity to propose improvements to our existing processes and automated tools in order to improve the teams speed quality and efficiency. The candidate will have good handson experience in test automation and testing with good knowledge of the core software testing techniques and have good communication collaboration analytical and problem solving skills.

Our QA Engineers are not pure black box testers; they test at the appropriate level and are able to understand software internals debug problems using log files and write automated tests with scripts and/or userlevel automated tools. QA Engineers work with Software Development Engineers and Business Owners to understand technical implementation of features. QA Engineers will also work with groups such as Product Management User Interaction and Customer Support to understand customer usage models and develop test plans and suites that approximate realworld environments and regression tests and driving the software development process towards quality focused methodologies always seeking to avoid defects or find them earlier in the process.

Create maintain and execute test cases test scripts and test scenarios for various software components
Taking care of the releases and coordinating with offshore teams
Proficient in automation to add and maintain automated testing frameworks and test suites.

2 years of quality assurance engineering experience
Experience in automation testing
Experience in manual testing
Experience in UI and API automation testing (Selenium/SOAPUI)

Experience in API & Mobile testing
Experience designing and planning test conditions test scripts and test data sets to ensure appropriate and adequate coverage and control

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $75700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $183100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
