About the role
At BlueRock were not just accountants were business growth partners. Our multidisciplinary team offers unrivalled support in Tax Advisory Business Advisory Cloud Accounting & Analytics Corporate Advisory Startup Advisory Grants & Incentives and Private Client Advisory. We use cuttingedge technology and innovative strategies to help clients navigate complex challenges and achieve their ambitious goals. What youll be doing:
As part of our team you will have the unique opportunity to work directly alongside our founder Peter Lalor gaining invaluable insights and experience that will significantly enhance your professional development. Your responsibilities will include:
- Tax consulting including employee share schemes restructuring and advice
- Strategic business planning
- Supporting our upandcoming talent to develop and grow
- Financial modelling and forecasting
- Working alongside other teams within BlueRock to identify opportunities to collaborate on client engagements
From a compliance point of view you will play a role in our team to ensure our clients meet compliance and tax obligations including:
- Preparing financial statements and income tax returns
- Preparing and lodging BAS IAS and FBT Returns
Requirements
We want to hear from people who have:
- 35 years of public practice accounting experience
- Previous experience mentoring and coaching graduates and junior team members
- Degree qualification and are CA or CPA qualified (or near completion)
- Strong level of technical advisory proficiency; with tax and consulting/modelling engagements including budgeting cash flow forecasting and valuations
- Excellent Microsoft Excel and Xero skills
- Someone ready to take BlueRock into its next stage of growth
