Adobe Cloud Platforms & Collaboration (ACPC) Group is building a highly scalable and available Content Platform for Adobe SaaS offerings running on public clouds. Were pushing the future of SaaS development by maximising and building the latest technology and design thinking. Our dedicated team of developers are building highly available low latency cloud scale foundation components such as Cache Storage Database (SQL and NoSQL) Queuing PubSub etc. to create one standard to develop deploy operate and govern Adobe SaaS solutions on multiple clouds catering to millions of requests every day. We love writing software We love solving complex problems by simple and elegant designs We are currently building the platform using modern container orchestration technologies We are taking a long term architecture approach in building this platform so that it supports the current and future needs of all Adobe services 100s of them) We use bestin class supporting tools like GitHub Slack and whatever else makes us productive We incrementally adapt our processes to fit our needs We trust each other to do their job exceptionally well
What youll do
Mentor and guide highperforming engineering team
Be an inspiring leader in building services for next generation multicloud service.
Deliver highperformance web services that are adaptable to dynamic business needs influence ideation & outstanding problem solving
Partner with global product management and engineering and operations leaders to help shape technical product architecture & practices roadmap and release plans
Drive strategic and tactical decisions which ensures the successful delivery of projects.
Lead the technical design vision and implementation strategy
Create plan and lead the engineering team to complete the vision.
Apply bestpractices and coding patterns that ensure solutions are maintainable modular and of high code quality.
Develop and evolve engineering processes and teamwork models applying creative problem solving to optimize team efficiency
Attract hire onboard and retain top talent. Empower and develop the team as a playercoach to be a highperformance team.
Craft a positive winning culture built on collaboration and shared accomplishments
Lead the discussions on emerging industry technologies & trends and work with the team & leadership use this knowledge to influence product direction.
What you need to succeed
9 years of experience in software development with proven ability in management role
Strong technical skills with experience in designing & developing enterprise applications
Strong Java/JEE design coding and architectural skills along with problem solving and analytical abilities
Expertise in Kafka Azure Cosmos DB Mongo DB Analytical and reporting databases
Experience in developing and leading teams building solution with cloud technologies (AWS and/or Azure)
Strong working knowledge of software development methodologies and software design patterns and have experience leading significant software projects/products
Proven experience running or leading sophisticated projects through full product delivery cycles
Consistent track record developing leading coaching and mentoring software engineers and engineering managers towards delivering timely highquality software as a team
Ambitious and not afraid to address unknowns demonstrates a strong bias to action
Consistent record in recruiting and building robust teams
Strong interpersonal analytical problemsolving and conflict resolution skills
Excellent speaking writing and presentation skills as well as the ability to persuade encourage and empower others
BS or MS or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field
