If youre ready for the challenge of working for a dynamic organization Dayton T. Brown Inc. has a career opportunity available for an experienced and motivated Security Guard. Our three divisions Engineering and Test Technical Services and Mission Systems make DTB a diverse and interesting place to work.
As a Security Guard you will be responsible to patrol premises to maintain order and establish a secure presence.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property.
- Secure all exits doors and windows after end of operations.
- Check surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful acts.
- Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation.
- Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences.
- 4hour security checks on closed areas.
- Escort nonUS citizen customers.
- Safeguard sensitive equipment in the lab.
- Must be available nights/weekends
Qualifications:
- A High School Diploma or equivalence
- 1 year of related experience
- Security Clearance preferred
- Law Enforcement preferred
- DTB is required to conduct a preemployment drug test and background review that includes checks of personal references credit law enforcement records and employment/education verifications
- U.S. citizenship required
- NOTE: If you hold more than one citizenship (i.e. of the U.S. and another country) your ability to obtain a security clearance may be impacted.
