About the Role
As a member of our Art Department you will:
Teach Art and Design across Key Stages 3 and 4 with opportunities to contribute to Key Stage 5 if you are an experienced teacher.
Plan and deliver engaging lessons across various media including drawing painting printmaking and digital work.
Inspire students to think critically explore their creativity and take pride in their work.
Support student progress through thoughtful assessment feedback and individualized support.
Contribute to the wider life of the department by leading art clubs organising exhibitions and providing enrichment opportunities.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop the curriculum and share best practices.
What Were Looking For
We welcome applications from ECTs and experienced teachers who:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Art Fine Art or Art & Design.
Are passionate about art education and skilled in delivering engaging studentcentred lessons.
Have strong subject knowledge and a creative teaching approach that makes the subject accessible to all students.
Are committed to maintaining high academic standards and behaviour in a selective academic setting.
Enjoy collaborating with colleagues and contributing to the wider school culture.
Demonstrate excellent communication skills and a commitment to their own personal and professional development.
