About the Role
As an Art Teacher you will:
Teach Art and Design across Key Stages 3 and 4 with the opportunity to contribute to Key Stage 5 as you gain experience.
Deliver creative highquality lessons in a variety of media including drawing painting printmaking and digital art.
Inspire students to think critically take pride in their work and develop their own artistic style.
Support student progress through thoughtful assessment feedback and individualised support.
Contribute to the wider life of the department including art clubs exhibitions and enrichment opportunities.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop the curriculum and share best practices for effective teaching.
What Were Looking For
We welcome applications from ECTs who:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree in Art Fine Art or Art & Design.
Are passionate about art education and eager to engage students in both practical and theoretical aspects of the subject.
Possess a creative teaching approach that is adaptable to different learning styles and challenges.
Are committed to maintaining high standards of achievement and behaviour in a selective academic environment.
Enjoy working collaboratively and are keen to contribute to the schools wider culture of excellence and creativity.
