DescriptionOverview:We are looking to hire a Quantity Surveyor for a national oil and gas operator in Doha must have a minimum of 12 years experience in multi discipline Quantity Survey specially for Infrastructure and civil experience in oil and gas or petrochemical industry will be preferred. Fluency in English is a Responsibilities:Responsible for all Quantity Survey activities connected Infrastructure & Civil capital projects including preparation/Verification of Bill of Quantities manhour requirements Tender and Contracts Documentation based upon the scope of work Participate intechnical evaluations and commercial evaluation for tendersEstablish and update total installed unit cost data for a wide range of oil and gas and infrastructure projects Upload additional cost data for completed projects to the Cost Estimating Database to improve the effective use of the inhouse Cost Estimation Database SystemAct on behalf of client with commensurate responsibility for all Cost Engineering Budgeting & Invoicing related matters pertaining to projects executed by the Engineering Department(s) under PEPS DirectorateDetermine applicable rates and applicable estimation strategy Preliminary & General matters and markup to be used for cost estimatesEndorse/reject Contractor invoices and Contractors submission for TDR/Claim based on cost evaluation/assessmentVerify and endorse Bills of Quantities and ManHour requirements prepared by Engineering Consultants and condition it to incorporate with the EPIC/Construction Tenders/ ContractsPhysical verification and endorsement of remeasurable works of EPIC/Construction ContractorsRequirements:Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying or Degree in an Engineering DisciplineA minimum 12 years experience in multi discipline Quantity Survey specially for Infrastructure and civil projects Working experience in oil and gas or petrochemical industry will be preferred Practical experience in Tenders administration of remeasurable Contracts BOQ preparation and Estimation are required Should have exposure to SAP & MS Office applicationsGood time management and organizational skillsA high degree of literacy in the English language (written and spoken) Ability to work under pressure and tight time constraints RequirementsWhere are you locatedWhats your nationalityWhat is your notice period; when can you engage this jobPlease only apply and press yes if you have read the requirements education experience and certifications and match Qatar
