Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and passionate ServiceNow Developer to join our dynamic IT Service Management team. As a ServiceNow Developer you will be responsible for designing developing and implementing solutions on the ServiceNow platform with a key focus on ITSM (IT Service Management) practices. You will work closely with other IT teams and stakeholders to optimize ServiceNow capabilities and ensure smooth service operations.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Solid experience and strong understanding of ITSM (IT Service Management) processes and principles.
- Proficiency in developing and configuring solutions on the ServiceNow platform particularly in ITSM modules (Incident Management Problem Management Change Management etc..
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow platform components like Service Catalog Workflow Business Rules Client Scripts and UI Policies.
Secondary Skills (Preferred Knowledge in at least 1 of the Following Modules):
- HAM (Hardware Asset Management): Experience in configuring and customizing the Hardware Asset Management module managing the lifecycle of IT assets.
- SAM (Software Asset Management): Knowledge and handson experience with managing software assets including licensing and compliance tracking within ServiceNow.
- CMDB (Configuration Management Database): Familiarity with CMDB and its integration into ITSM processes ensuring accurate tracking of configuration items (CIs) and their relationships.
- Discovery: Experience in integrating ServiceNow Discovery with the IT infrastructure to automate asset discovery and management.
- Integrations: Expertise in integrating ServiceNow with other enterprise systems (e.g. ERP monitoring tools etc. to ensure seamless data flow and efficient service management processes.
- Epro (Enterprise Procurement): Understanding of Enterprise Procurement processes and its integration with ServiceNow for asset procurement and lifecycle management.
- CSM (Customer Service Management): Experience in configuring and customizing the Customer Service Management module in ServiceNow to improve service delivery and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and implement custom solutions on the ServiceNow platform based on business requirements.
- Configure and customize ServiceNow modules workflows forms and business rules to meet ITSM requirements.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand business needs and translate them into ServiceNow solutions.
- Develop and manage integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise applications and systems.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for ServiceNow implementations including bug fixes and enhancements.
- Optimize performance and functionality of the ServiceNow platform.
- Work with stakeholders to continuously improve and optimize ITSM processes and workflows.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for ServiceNow development work processes and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in ServiceNow development and customization.
- Experience with at least one of the secondary modules (HAM SAM CMDB Discovery Integrations Epro or CSM).
- ServiceNow certifications (e.g. ServiceNow Certified Application Developer) are highly preferred.
- Strong programming skills in JavaScript AngularJS HTML and other web technologies.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow scripting tools like Business Rules UI Actions Script Includes and Scheduled Jobs.
- Strong problemsolving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with ServiceNow integration tools (e.g. REST APIs SOAP MID Server).
- Experience with ITIL processes and best practices.
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a teamoriented environment.
