Job Title: Sports Medicine Nurse Practitioner OR Physician Assistant

Job Type: Locum Tenens

Location: Lawrenceville GA

Service Setting: Outpatient Clinic

Coverage Type: Clinical Only

Coverage Period: 07/14/2025 10/14/2025

Clinical Shift Schedule: 7:30 AM 4:30 PM

Patient Demographics: Adults

Case Mix: General Sports Medicine

FACILITY INFORMATION

Reason for Coverage: Priority need for general clinic coverage

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Rate: TBD

Travel Lodging and Malpractice Insurance is covered

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

Physical examinations

Lab test ordering and interpretation

Treatment planning

Preventive healthcare and counseling

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses: Active license required

Board: Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)

DEA: Active DEA Certification

Certifications: BLS required

Experience: Prior experience in sports medicine or outpatient clinic preferred

Other Qualifications: Proficiency with EMR systems (preferred)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform physical psychosocial assessments

Establish medical diagnoses

Order and evaluate diagnostic tests

Manage followup care

Develop treatment plans

Provide preventative healthcare and counseling
