Adelphi is seeking highly qualified and licensed SpeechLanguage Pathologists (SLPs) to provide IEPrelated services to students at a school District in Newcastle Delaware. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting evaluations developing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) delivering speechlanguage services & collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in educational settings.

Requirements:
Master s Degree in SpeechLanguage Pathology from an accredited institution
State of Delaware License in SpeechLanguage Pathology
Experience working with students with mild to severe disabilities
Experience in the Delaware public school system(s) preferred
Experience in the use of augmentative communication preferred
Evidence of criminal background check
Current Mantoux tuberculin test with a negative or inactive positive result
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech language hearing & communication evaluations in compliance with IDEA & district procedures.
Develop & implement therapy plans aligned with student IEPs using varied service delivery models.
Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals adjusting interventions as necessary.
Attend and participate in IEP meetings to review student progress eligibility and program placement.
Utilize assistive and augmentative communication technologies when appropriate.
Collaborate with educators families and school staff to support student communication development and educational access.
Maintain accurate records in compliance with federal state& district guidelines including Medicaid billing if applicable.
Support professional development by attending district inservice training and contributing to team knowledge sharing.
Perform any other duties as assigned.
