Responsibilities
- Oversees student program strategy enhances and influences the program to align with district strategies. Maintains strategic relationships with academic institutions.
- Responsible for the recruitment and onboarding programs needed. Leads recruitment process for seniorlevel positions. Utilizes appropriate recruitment sourcing strategies and builds strategic industry contacts to build a candidate pipeline.
- Leads local market research and analysis for salary/bonus review cycle.
- Provides guidance coaching and training on all aspects of career management.
- Guides and coaches supervisors through progressive discipline process for entry to midlevel positions including the development and delivery of performance improvement plans and/or progressive disciplinary strategies on employee relations issues up to and including termination.
- Leads investigations including communication/implementation of outcomes/decisions. Assists manager on complex investigations.
- Has demonstrated experience in executing employment investigations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Postsecondary diploma or degree in human resources or a related discipline preferred.
- Completion of HR designation preferred.
- 7 years of progressive human resources experience preferred.
- Supervisory experience an asset.
- Able to tactfully and diplomatically deal with people and act with discretion when handling confidential information.
- Able to interpret and analyze information and data and make recommendations.
- Able to effectively manage a team comprising of entrylevel human resources professionals.
- Seen as a trusted advisor with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and decisions makers.
- Advanced organizational skills high level of detail orientation and ability to multitask and prioritize conflicting deadlines.

The salary range for this position is between $114000.00 and $134000.00 per annum based on experience and qualifications.
