Join our team as a PartTime Housekeeper at Fellowship Community in Whitehall PA! 24 hours per week 3 days). Every other weekend. Your day to day as a Housekeeper
As a Housekeeper at Fellowship Community your daily tasks will include maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in designated areas ensuring all cleaning supplies are stocked and following safety protocols to provide a hygienic environment. Youll be responsible for dusting vacuuming mopping floors and sanitizing surfaces to uphold our high standards of cleanliness. Additionally collaborating with team members to coordinate tasks efficiently and communicate any maintenance needs will be essential.
Your attention to detail and dedication to creating a welcoming space for residents will be key to your success in this role. Get ready to make a difference every day!
Requirements for this Housekeeper job
To thrive as a Housekeeper at Fellowship Community youll need a basic understanding of federal state and local skilled nursing regulations and previous cleaning experience in healthcare settings. High school diploma or equivalent basic computer skills and proficiency in English are essential. Physical abilities such as mopping climbing ladders and lifting up to 60lbs are required. Knowledge of Geriatrics and Dementia is a plus.
Your success will be enhanced by completing orientation being a team player serviceoriented and aligning with our RISE Core Values. If youre detailoriented proactive and motivated to provide topnotch cleaning services in a healthcare environment we want to hear from you!
Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
- Basic knowledge of federal state and local skilled nursing regulations.
- Cleaning experience in a hospital skilled nursing facility or other related facility is preferred.
- High school or equivalent education
- Basic computer skills
- Must be able to read write comprehend and speak English.
- Must be able to sweep dry and wet mop and climb a ladder.
- Must be able to lift up to 60lbs.
- Must have an understanding of Geriatrics and Dementia.
- Successful completion of orientation.
- Team oriented and service focused
