What Youll Do:
- Maintain and troubleshoot all electrical and mechanical aspects of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) on site including conveyor systems sortation systems carton rectors print and apply compactors/balers.
- Adjust scanners cameras scales and printer applicators (PANDA)
- Reset repair or replace adjustable components (belts chains cables) and wearing components (guides bearings wheels rollers pulleys)
- Clean lubricate and calibrate equipment
- Use appropriate job plans procedures and manuals
- Maintain and troubleshoot motors photo eyes relays proximity sensors solenoids motor starters encoders etc.
- Assist with basic electronics/ Programmable Logic Controls troubleshooting
- Utilize handheld devices or desktop PC to create and close Work Orders with appropriate data (labor hours downtimeproblem/cause/remedyand parts used)
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships across all levels of the organization
- Follow appropriate safety procedures and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while maintaining equipment (Lock Out/Tag Out Arc Flash etc. and ensure a safe work environment by eliminating potential equipment safety hazards
What Youll Need:
- Military maintenance experience serving as enlisted or commissioned.
- Proven experience of effectively managing groups of 10 or more team members.
- Strong written verbal analytical and problemsolving skills at the tactical level.
- Ability to effectively operate both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong maintenance skills specifically in conveyor and electrical.
- Successful candidates must have the flexibility to work NIGHTS and/or WEEKENDS.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must be able to stand and /or walk for up to 10 hours daily.
Qualifications:
- PC competency and ability to use handheld devices
- Familiar with wiring diagrams symbols and electrical measuring
- Experience in the following areas:
- Work order management
- Preventive/predictivemaintenance procedures
- Basic blueprint and schematic reading
- Basic metal fabrication and welding
- Industrial Controls and Electronics
- Ability to troubleshoot basic Input/Output functions
- Basic understanding of Programmable Logic Control (PLC) programs
- High school diploma or equivalent required
