Tractor Disc Operator

Key Information:
- Hours: Project dependent. Overtime required.
- Must be willing to work evenings and weekends on various schedules.
- Hourly rate is dependent on experience.
- Health benefits and vacation pay offered.
Job Description:
- Must be able to operate a tractor disc in a safe and efficient manner.
- Must be able to understand how to prepare the soil to dry for compaction.
- Must be familiar with aspects of road construction and compaction of soil.
- Willing to help ground personnel when required.
- Preform pre and post trip inspections on the unit.
Experience and Certification Requirements:
- Must have 2 seasons as a Tractor Disc Operator.
- Understand the issues involving ground disturbance.
- Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS 09 or 2020 WHMIS 2015 and ground disturbance 201 are required.
- Must comply with the companys drug and alcohol policy including testing requirements.
- Valid class 5 drivers license with clean drivers abstract valid within 30 days of employment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Safety Oriented.
- A reliable means of transportation is required.
- Proficient English language skills required.
Education: Completion of high school or equivalent is required.
