Summary
The MultiAxis CNC Programmer works within the CNC function of CETs Production Department. This position reports to the CNC Coordinator and Lead Programmer and their primary function is to use MasterCAM to program large format 5 axis CNC machine lathe and provide support to the 3 axis machines along with our newly acquired HAAS UMC1000 and HAAS ST45L.

Additional Details
This fulltime office position works a typical schedule of 7:00 AM 3:30 PM Monday to Friday with some longer hours or weekend work when needed.

- Program large format 3 & 5 Axis HAAS UMC 10000 and HAAS ST45L CNC files using MasterCam.
- Engineers programs designs/builds fixtures determines speeds and feeds
- Perform quality assurance tests to ensure products meet design specifications.
- Adjust machine cutting paths or settings to optimize production while maintaining quality.
- Consider tools required to cut particular materials and program machines accordingly.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems with machines as they arise.
- Setup complex jobs and may run production parts.
- Read technical drawings and set up the machines in accordance with designs.
- Train new employees on how to properly operate CNC machines and programs.
- Adhere to required standards established to maintain ISO 9001:2015 certification.
