Brand Ambassadors demonstrate superior knowledge of MercedesBenz vehicles merchandise and the history of the MercedesBenz brand. MercedesBenz is the world leader in innovation technology and safety so you will have the opportunity to become an authority on the subject.
Essential Job Functions:
- Provide outstanding customer service when greeting our customers by: actively listening to their questions interpreting body language and tone in order to exceed expectations and meet their needs.
- Encourage customers to interact with vehicles on display to generate excitement and brand engagement.
- Maintain retail merchandise and store appearance.
- Manage merchandise purchase transactions and balance cash drawer.
- Participate in special MercedesBenz Experience Store Events on property and in the community including event setup and vehicle transportation.
- Introduce promotions to customers pursue vehicle/service opportunities and convert customer contacts to leads. Achieve established department goals.
- Abide by company policy and departmental best practices and procedures; perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Prior to being employed applicants for employment must participate in RBMs normal screening process which includes: completing a full employment application; satisfactory criminal credit and driving records checks (where applicable); inperson interviews and other inquiries.
- High school diploma (or equivalent) and authorized to work in the USA for any employer.
- All applicants must have a current and valid drivers license a clean driving record and must be insurable.
- Previous experience in a similar role with similar responsibilities is preferred.
- Basic communication problem solving skills and mathematical skills using American units of measure.
- Physical demands include: frequently position body and move in order to greet clients demonstrate and drive vehicles and work special events for extended periods of time; detect and identify safety issues; exert force to move/manipulate objects (up to 50lbs occasionally 10lbs frequently); operate equipment; repetitive motion. Work is conducted inside outside in proximity to moving vehicles and driving on public roadways.
