Purpose
Join AXA as a Principal Site Reliability Engineer in our dynamic Reliability Team! You will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability availability and performance of our cuttingedge applications and systems. Collaborating closely with development teams you will help build and maintain innovative robust solutions.
Mission Description
In this key position your expertise in cloud environments automation tools and infrastructureascode will be vital in proactively identifying and mitigating potential failures. You will foster a culture of continuous improvement while ensuring our systems are resilient against any challenges.
Tasks Description
- Proactive Monitoring: utilize monitoring tools and information sources to generate alerts and warnings on potential issues before they impact systems or applications.
- Technical Solutions Deployment:Analyze configuration and behavioral issues deploying technical solutions through automation tools or infrastructureascode scripting.
- Best Practices Implementation:Assess and verify that reliability criteria and best practices are met and implemented effectively.
- Continuous Improvement Advocate:Drive a culture of operational excellence across the organization by collaborating with DevOps architecture and security teams.
- Emergency Response Participation:Play an active role in emergency response situations ensuring swift and effective action.
- Architectural Assessments:Evaluate application and service architecture to ensure high reliability availability and performance standards.
- Enhancement Contributions:Identify and implement enhancements to strengthen the reliability and performance of our systems.
Your Profile
Must have
- Analytical Mind:Proactive thinker with a knack for analysing complex systems and identifying potential instability points.
- Effective Communicator:Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to both stakeholders and fellow engineers.
- Education:Masters degree in computer science engineering or related fields.
- Problem Solver:Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Team Player:Ability to adapt and thrive in a fastevolving environment while collaborating effectively with team members.
- Language Proficiency:Very good oral and written proficiency in English.
Nice to have
- Experience:Minimum of 5 years in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) DevOps or System Engineering with at least 3 years as a technical consultant developer or architect.
- Cloud Expertise:Strong experience with AWS or Azure cloud environments.
- Automation Skills:Proven ability in developing automation tools for monitoring and system management.
- Certifications:Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert and Dynatrace certifications are highly valued.
