The Patient Care Manager is responsible for providing the overall leadership and management of the Intensive Care Unit and for producing successful outcomes and results.
Responsibilities:
- Identifies ideas and actions to grow patient volumes.
- Ensures that ICU comply with all healthcare regulations nursing regulations Joint Commission and company policies & procedures.
- Manages ICU to ensure the financial budget is achieved. Assesses opportunities for cost savings.
- Identifies ideas actions and processes to improve quality reduce risk and maintain patient safety.
- Maintains excellent customer service. Identifies areas for service improvements.
- Selects and hires high performing staff members.
- Assists nursing personnel in the delivery of nursing care and performs RN duties.
Requirements:
- Bachelors in Nursing (BSN) degree or Masters in Nursing (MSN).
- Licensed Registered Nurse in the state of Illinois.
- CPR & ACLS certification by AHA accredited program required.
- 35 years of nurse management charge nurse or other leadership experience preferred.
