Hourly rate of 12.77 per hour
Please note that this is a part time 24 hour contract but there may be a possibility to top up the hours to a full time position with additional hours as a Food and Beverage Supervisor at the same rate of pay.

The Hilton Birmingham Metropole is now recruiting for a Food and Beverage Department Trainer . The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and coordinating the delivery of all Food and Beveragespecific training initiatives as part of the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. The role will also involve supporting the office function of the Food and Beverage department
What will I be doing
As a Food and Beverage Trainer you would be responsible for developing coordinating implementing and delivering all Food and Beveragespecific training initiatives in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Review and assess performance needs in Food and Beverage and develop update and make recommendations for training initiatives or other solutions
- Track input and maintain accurate training records in partnership with Human Resources
- Ensure full compliance with Company training programs within Food and Beverage
- Plan and conduct meetings with Food and Beverage Managers to track performance trends and prepare action plans and/or training initiatives as needed
- Ensure consistency of job skills training the certification process and documentation
- Greets internal and external customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Maintaining accurate payroll records for the department
- Prepares and types corresponded complex numerical/financial reports as directed
- Prepares correspondence on behalf of management
- Duplicates copies and distributes and mails material for the department/office
- Orders and maintains office supplies and equipment
- Maintains files and equipment in an orderly and professional manner
- Uses the propertys email system and maintains their email box as is policy
- Appropriate business use of telephone and voice email system
- Handles requests from both internal and external as appropriate
