Job Description
Mackin Educational Resources is a wellestablished highly respected company that has openings for Fulltime Bindery Machine Operators at its Topeka KS Bindery.
Responsibilities
- Operate various bindery equipment which may include cutting folding scoring stitching and gluing equipment.
- Observe and monitor machine operations to determine whether adjustments are needed.
- Perform routine adjustments as well as perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of assigned equipment during shift.
- Follow established manner to run product through assigned machine to produce expected quality and support staff to prepare for order production.

- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong mechanical aptitude is preferred.
- The ability to bend and lift 1015 pounds continuously stand during entire shift use fingers hands and arms continuously in controlled movement.
- Perform repetitious tasks in a fastpaced atmosphere is necessary.
- Ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time without being distracted.
- Ability to accurately use dimension measurement tools (i.e. ruler/tape measure).
- Previous Bindery Machine Operator experience a plus
Education & Experience
- High School or GED
Hours
- Fulltime 1st Shift 7:00am 3:30pm) Monday through Friday
- Weekends and Overtime as needed

- $17.75 per hour
