Platform Engineer

Role

As a Platform Engineer at Samaya you will lead the way we build operate and scale our (cloud) infrastructure. This year we are setup for rapid growth to several thousands of expert users that rely on Samaya daily. You will be critical in ensuring our systems scale reliably while ensuring that our internal engineering experience maintains the highest standard.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize our platform. We need scalable secure and costefficientcloud infrastructure to serve customer needs.
• Own and improve our CI/CD pipelines and release cycles.
• Drive and organize our oncall processes to ensure we maximize our availability to our customers.
• Automate all our infrastructure needs using infraascode using tools such as Terraform Pulumi HELM and/or Kustomize.

Experience

Required

• Bachelors in Computer Science Engineering or related qualification
• 3 years experience in tech industry
• Proactive and eager to take ownership
• Fast iteration based on user engagement

Preferred

• Experience in building & operating cloud infrastructure for realworld applications
• Experience in enterprise b2b companies building security focused products
• Experience in serving applications at scale
• Expertise in best practices of building for scale performance and engineering best practices

Compensation

The cash compensation range for this role is $165000 $220000.

Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.

In addition to the base salary we may consider equity as part of our total compensation package.
