This role is for someone who enjoys handson experience building enterprise networks embraces new technology and feels strongly not only about supporting large networks but also conduction complex network migrations. The candidate is expected to convert business requirements to technical specifications and network designs. This individual must enjoy a closeknit team environment of shared responsibility.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities

- Research new technology advancements and conduct evaluations focused on optimizing and improving network configuration performance capacity availability and operational reliability.
- Plan design implement and document all network related projects.
- Define and maintain technology standards.
- Establish and maintain backup and versioncontrol of network configurations.
- Troubleshoot network designs and make recommendations for system fixes and enhancements.
- Make recommendations for leveraging network installations and reducing operational costs
- Partner with crossfunctional peers from both infrastructure and application teams.
- Manage hardware/software vendors service providers and 3rd party partners.
- Conduct network related work for Mergers and Acquisitions.
- Provide first/second tier of support for all networking issues including routing switching WIFI and firewall.
- All other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or related discipline or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of experience in a Network Engineering role in enterprise environment with geographically dispersed locations.
- Specific experience with Cisco Meraki switch/WIFI Palo Alto NGFW Infoblox DDI Cisco ASA ISR ASR Catalyst/Nexus switches and SDWAN.
- Intermediate understanding of EIGRP BGP OSPF MPLS VPN Ethernet DSL DMVPN QoS COS SNMP VoIP VLANS Subnetting Supernetting Trunking Virtual Networking IPS WLAN WAN acceleration URL filtering NetFlow network monitoring systems cloud service providers such as MS Azure and OCI.
- Experience with supporting and troubleshooting global networks which includes multisite highavailability loadbalanced infrastructure solutions (active/active).
- Cisco CCNA or related industry certification required
Physical Demands
- Frequently required to walk stand sit climb balance stoop kneel crawl and crouch.
- Occasionally lifts up to 50 lbs.
- Regularly required reach with hands and arms.
- Requires travel to plants (domestic US and international) with overnight stays; may require staying on job for 12 weeks at a time.
Work Environment
- Job functions will be carried out in an office plant and data center environment.
