We are seeking an Executive Chef to lead a distinguished culinary journey that reflects the soul of our destination through exceptional cuisine and refined service.
In this role you will be the creative force behind our gourmet experiencesfrom signature dining to bespoke banquets and room service that exceeds every expectation. This is an extraordinary opportunity for a culinary visionary with a passion for innovation artistry and luxury hospitality.
This role is responsible for guiding and developing staff including direct reports. Overseeing all Hotel food preparation and kitchen service support areas. You will also be closely working with our external stakeholders to drive the success of the culinary journey at the Hotel and in the outlets.
What Youll Be Doing:
Leading kitchen operations for the Hotel
Serve as a brand ambassador for The Luxury Collections culinary philosophy
Setting and maintaining goals for culinary functions and activities
Ensuring culinary standards and responsibilities are met by following goals set by the hotel
Ensuring exceptional customer service delivered by self and culinary team
Ensuring food safety quality and control measures documented
Sustainability focus and metrics achieved
Menu creation and engineering
Department financials accountability
Driving food quality and service satisfaction metrics
Training coaching mentoring managing team employee satisfaction
Stakeholder management and engagement
What Were Looking For:
Previous experience working as an Executive Chef and Chef trade qualification
Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate a team lead by example
Ability to build strong relationships with producers suppliers stakeholders and ensure qualitysourced produce
Impeccable attention to detail
Team player who integrates with all of the Hotel teams to drive guest and employee satisfaction
Proactive with the willingness to take initiative and make sound business decisions
Driven creative with a genuine passion for cooking and a strong customer service focus
Current knowledge of culinary trends and industry best practices growth mindset
Commitment determination and reliability (with the availability to work late nights and on weekends as required)
