Faculty Member of Data Science Limited Term

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver highquality online courses in Data Science that align with UFreds mission and standards.
• Foster an inclusive supportive and engaging virtual learning environment.
• Utilize innovative teaching methods and digital tools to enhance the student learning experience.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to support student progress and success.
• Collaborate with academic teams to continuously improve curriculum and course materials.
• Establish and maintain a research program in their respective field.

Qualifications:

• Terminal degree in Data Science or a closely related field.
• Proven experience teaching in an online setting is highly desirable.
• Strong commitment to diversity equity and inclusion within both the classroom and the institution.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage a diverse online student population.
• Research and Industry Experience.

Since its establishment in 2005 the University of Fredericton (UFred) has aimed to provide innovative and adaptable online education. Compensation Package

Location

The position is located in Fredericton NB with the possibility to work remotely from anywhere in New Brunswick and attend inoffice meetings as required. The ideal candidate should reside in New Brunswick or is willing to relocate.
