About the Role
We are looking for a Backend Software Engineer to join our Insights and Alerts team. This role will focus on building and maintaining highperformance backend systems integrating with AIdriven components and managing infrastructure with infrastructureascode. The ideal candidate is a strong Python developer with experience working in cloud environments and a passion for building scalable efficient systems.
The job is remote within the USA but Eastern time zone hours are required. The ideal candidate will be located near the Greater Boston area.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and enhance backend features ensuring system reliability and scalability.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and improve system performance.
Manage infrastructure using Terraform and other infrastructureascode tools.
Work closely with Gitbased workflows including code reviews and contributions.
Key Projects:
Integrating with LLM Agents and building features around them.
Hosting and optimizing ML models to serve millions of requests per day.
Processing and managing largescale data efficiently ensuring lowlatency client access.
Required Skills & Experience
4 years of experience in software engineering or product engineering.
Strong proficiency in Python for backend development.
Experience working with Linux containers (Docker Kubernetes etc. and cloud environments.
Knowledge of AWS cloud services.
Gitbased workflows for development including pull requests and code reviews.
Preferred Skills & Experience
Experience with Databricks for largescale data processing.
Handson experience with Terraform for infrastructure management.
Familiarity with GitHub Actions for CI/CD automation.
Background in AI/ML technologies and deploying ML models in production.
Education & Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related quantitative field or equivalent industry experience.
