Sr Project Management Specialist

Nakupuna Prime is looking for a Senior Project Management Specialist to support Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) is pursuing an enterprise generational business transformation to ensure alignment with organizational goals through effective program planning risk management and stakeholder engagement to prioritize the necessary business changes to improve performance efficiencies and capabilities.

• Support the planning and evaluation of IT and SCM programs by providing data analysis documentation and coordination support
• Maintain project schedules risk logs and performance reports
• Conduct research and support stakeholder engagement through briefings and presentations contributing to continuous improvement efforts
• Facilitate knowledge transfer to client teams to support longterm sustainability and operational maturity
• Assist in identifying financial and contracting issues status and recommend solutions to project leadership
• Assist Program Manager with creating tasks deliverables events and milestones in Microsoft Project or comparable project or task management software directed by the government
• Assist in developing a complete and accurate Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) of all tasks and deliverables
• Assist in developing a preliminary and final implementation document
• Assist the Government to prepare interpret guidance and direction and implement the ERP data strategy
• Assist in developing a preliminary and final requirements document
• Assist in implementing a communication plan to facilitate clear and effective communication channels to team members customers and other stakeholders
• Track daily program management tasks to keep the team and program on target
• Monitor and report the progress of the programtoProgram Manager
• Align deliverables to the programs outcome define scope and objectives and ensure technical feasibility of the project goals
• Ensure all contract deliverables are delivered to the customer on time with Nakupuna standards of excellence

Education/Experience:This position requires a bachelors degree from an accredited institution with five 5 to seven 7 years of professional experience.

The following experience is desired:

• PMP Certification
• Experience with Project Management principles associated with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) specifically Planning Implementation Testing Documentation
• Experience managing complex teams
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word Excel PowerPoint Project Visio)

Clearance Requirements: A background investigation at the T1 level is required as this is not currently a classified position. Must be a U.S. citizen.
