We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Field Service Technician to provide exceptional onsite customer services with a focus on troubleshooting installing repairing Industrial Scientific instruments and training clients on the use of these instruments and solutions. This role also involves serving as the operational liaison with Authorized Service Centers. The Field Service Technician reports to the Customer Excellence & Fulfillment Director Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite commissioning startup and installation of Industrial Scientific equipment at client facilities.
- Configure hardware load software conduct operational tests perform minor onsite repairs and train operators.
- Troubleshoot and repair onsite products systems and accessories of Industrial Scientific.
- Train and assist clients on the proper use of Industrial Scientific products systems and services.
- Exercise judgment in troubleshooting and developing solutions for a variety of complex technical problems involving software and hardware.
- Recommend and implement technical solutions providing guidance and expertise as a subject matter expert to ensure continuous and successful usage and adoption of Industrial Scientific products and services.
- Document and track customer issues to ensure a prompt resolution.
- Engage with other Industrial Scientific teams to identify and resolve technical customer issues involving software and hardware.
- Actively participate in the continuous service improvement process in collaboration with appropriate internal and external teams.
- Maintain uptodate functional and technical knowledge of Industrial Scientific products and services.
- Share best practices in the development and use of Industrial Scientific products and services.
- Provide customer feedback to developers to help identify new features or potential new products.
- Conduct proactive postimplementation followup to retain our customers and partners.
- Train and monitor the operational performance of Authorized Service Centers (ASCs).
- Train and certify technicians from various partners and clients.
- Provide technical expertise to the sales team during tender calls.
Requirements and Skills: - Excellent command of both French and English.
- A minimum of a 2year degree (Bac2 in related fields such as electronics computer science or equivalent certification.
- 5 years of equivalent work experience.
- Proficiency in computer systems and MS Office programs.
- Good knowledge of IP networks and firewalls wireless connectivity.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication and style to different audiences.
- Ability to travel daily (within France and internationally).
- Valid drivers license.
