Job Description

Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world.

Project Kuiper will help close the digital divide by delivering fast affordable broadband to a wide range of customers including consumers businesses government agencies and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity. The Kuiper Commercial Revenue Operations (CRO) team is responsible for business strategy customer experience product management and system development for Kuipers enterprise solutions.

As a Salesforce Engineer in Kuipers Commercial Revenue Operations you will define design architect and implement field service solutions on the Salesforce platform. In this role you will require expertise in architecting designing implementation and maintenance of solutions using technologies such as Omniscript Order Management Order Orchestration Field Service Management Service Cloud and APEX. You will work extensively with product managers technical program managers engineering managers and software engineers to define and develop technical solutions.

Key job responsibilities
Work with product managers to design and architect business workflows for quote management contract management order management and order orchestration. Produce design artifacts including system architecture solution design documents data models.
Implement solutions using technologies such as APEX Field Service Management Service Cloud Order Management Order Orchestration and APEX.
Deploy solutions using technologies DevOps and enterprise security best practices.
Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Monitor middleware performance troubleshoot issues and optimize configurations to maintain system efficiency and reliability.
Collaboration and Leadership: Partner closely with crossfunctional teams providing technical leadership guidance and expertise to ensure successful integration projects.
Design develop and review Apex code to support complex business logic and integrations. Serve as the technical lead and architect for the Salesforce platform ensuring best practices are followed and technical debt is managed.
Oversee and Mentor entry level and midlevel engineers.

Export Control Requirement:


Due to applicable export control laws and regulations candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national U.S. permanent resident (i.e. current Green Card holder) or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

About the team
The Kuiper Commercial Revenue Operations (CRO) team is responsible for driving business strategy product management customer adoption system development and operations for Kuipers commercial business.



Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent
4 years of software development experience
2 years of experience with CPQ or Order Management and Order Orchestration
Knowledge and experience of deploying solutions using deployment technologies such as SFDX Copado and Gearset
Knowledge of source control systems such as Git
2 years of Salesforce Development experience utilizing Apex Lightning component frameworks triggers batch Apex and Salesforce APIs.
2 years of designing or architecting (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems

Prior experience of implementing Salesforce communications.
Prior experience of working in large scale implementation in the telecommunications domain.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
