Heres how aSolar Engineering Manager Analyticsfor our Solar Canadaoffice contributes to our team:
Responsibilities
- Oversees the performance of all solar projects aiming to maximize energy production and revenue
- Accountable for conducting potential loss calculations caused by various outdoor environments
- Oversees all data irregularities monitoring trends in project performance and proactively identifies underlying and potentialissues
- Understands client drivers and offers value engineering proposals for functionality cost and schedule benefit.
- Negotiates availability guarantees performance ratios and capacity test exhibits for project contracts through calculations and data analysis.
- Prepare present and defend performance testing results and monthly or annual reports to clients and their independent engineers
- Coordinates with manufacturers and SCADA suppliers while interpreting various technical documents.
- Ensures continued awareness of the renewable market and ongoing innovation and/or issues.
- Identifies and manages risk and opportunities on solar projects.
- Supervises directs coaches trains and mentors team including direct and indirect reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or diploma in engineering construction management or a related field.
- 1015 years of progressive construction experience with leadership and mentoring skills preferred.
- Indepth knowledge of solar industry including supporting the operation and performance of solar projects.
- Ability to monitor and forecast project resources and staffing for the project.
- Ability to identify and manage risk and opportunities on solarprojects.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers.
- Experience in leading a team of 46 employees
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Power BI with a strong aptitude for adopting new technology.
