Job Description
Position Type: Onsite
Contract Length: 6 months
Position Overview:
Provide technical and client support for plantlevel IS systems including hardware networking and computerbased solutions. Collaborate with the Plant Digital System Support Specialist and assist with corporate IT initiatives such as hardware refreshes and system maintenance.
Duties:Provide onsite support for IT infrastructure including Windows desktop and laptop installation and maintenance
Support automation and controls software including managing licenses on technician PCs
Assist with virtual machine (VM) support on user computers
Respond to enduser support requests related to PC software hardware printers and plantspecific applications
Collaborate with the corporate IT Help Desk and the plant Digital System Support Specialist (DSS) to resolve technical issues
Troubleshoot client issues efficiently and effectively
Apply knowledge of Windows environments and networking in daytoday support
Assist with PC hardware refresh processes and related tasks
Required Skills:
Associates degree in IT Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience
13 years of experience in IT/OT support
Proficient understanding of Windows operating systems (PC and server)
Understanding of virtual machine concepts
Understanding of network communications
Some knowledge of programming languages and database concepts
