Job Description:
A company in the Aerospace industry is looking to hire a Vertical Turning Lathe Setup/Operator to join their 2nd shift team. In this role you will be responsible for setting up and operating vertical turning lathes to manufacture parts with tight tolerances. You will work with Honor Seiki machines equipped with Zoller laser setting and Fanuc controls.
Key Responsibilities:
**Set up and operate vertical turning lathes to produce parts to exact specifications.
**Interpret and work from blueprints and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GDT).
**Monitor the machining process making adjustments as necessary to maintain product quality.
**Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery.
**Collaborate with team members to ensure production goals are met.
**Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

Requirements:
**Minimum of 1 years of experience in vertical turning lathe setup and operation.
**Good attitude able to take constructive criticism willing to learn and grow with the company
Preferred Experience:
**Proficiency with Fanuc controls and Zoller laser setting.
**Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GDT.
**Familiarity with Honor Seiki machines is a plus.
**Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing highquality work.
**Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to work independently.
**Flexibility to work night shifts with a differential baked into pay upfront.
