Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Semiconductor Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team in ECHO Fab. In this role you will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on a wide range of semiconductor manufacturing equipment including LPCVD etch photolithography and metrology tools. The ideal candidate possesses strong troubleshooting abilities a deep understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on semiconductor processing equipment according to documented procedures and specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions utilizing diagnostic tools and techniques to identify root causes.
  • Replace faulty components calibrate equipment and perform system upgrades as needed.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing engineering and process teams to resolve equipment issues and optimize tool performance.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols including lockout/tagout procedures and cleanroom practices.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • 15 years of experience in a highvolume semiconductor manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and handson experience with various hand and power tools.
  • Familiarity with a variety of semiconductor equipment types including LPCVD etch photolithography and metrology tools (e.g. ASM LPCVD Ultratech Steppers Tel Coaters Disco Grinders SEZ Etchers).
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex equipment problems and implement effective solutions.
  • AA Technical Degree in Electronics Mechanics or a related field or equivalent military training in relevant areas.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and 5S methodology.
