The School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering at UNSW is looking for a motivated Technical Officer / Senior Technical Officerexperienced inmanufacturing constructing and assembling apparatus devices models or rigs to join the technical staff team. Experience in CAD drawings using software such as Solidworks is highly desirable for this opportunity.
You will be responsible for providing efficient and effective technical support to the schools manufacturing laboratories under the guidance of the Laboratory Manager. Your duties will include overseeing the operation and maintenance of laboratory materials and equipment collaborating with staff and students on the design and construction of experimental rigs and serving as the primary point of contact for laboratory safety procedures.
This role reports to the Laboratory Manager and has no direct reports.
