Job Description
The Alexa team seeks an experienced Solutions Architect to help thirdparty developers integrate their products and services with Alexa.
Powered by generative AI Alexa is your new personal AI assistant that gets things doneshes smarter more conversational more capable and will be available across our family of devices: screened nonscreened mobile FireTV and to name a few. Rebuilt from the ground up this new version of Alexa uses a stateoftheart architecture that automatically connects a variety of large language models (LLMs) agentic capabilities services and devices at scale.
As the technical face of Amazon youll collaborate with senior leadership at toptier brands to architect innovative voice and multimodal AI experiences. Youll provide handson technical guidance throughout integration lifecycles while balancing partner needs with Amazons strategic priorities.
The ideal candidate brings proven cloud and AI development expertise alongside external partner collaboration experience. You combine deep technical knowledge with exceptional communication skills enabling you to translate complex technologies into business value and build credibility with developers at all levels.
Key job responsibilities
Technical Innovation
Architect and prototype generative AI applications leveraging Alexa capabilities
Design and optimize LLM prompts to enhance Alexas conversational intelligence latency and accuracy
Create technical solutions that integrate thirdparty services with Alexa
Partner Enablement
Lead architectural discussions with developers and strategic partners to maximize Alexa adoption
Deliver compelling demonstrations that showcase the transformative potential of Alexa technologies
Drive highimpact partner engagements that contribute significantly to business outcomes
Strategic Leadership
Provide thought leadership on Alexa integration patterns and reference architectures
Shape product roadmaps by translating industry trends and partner needs into platform enhancements
Identify emerging partnership opportunities alongside business development teams
A day in the life
Were looking for a highly talented and motivated SA to join our Alexa team to help bring our partner experiences to life with generative AI. Youll engage in deep technical discussions to design solutions solve problems and coordinate Alexa feature implementations to raise the bar on the customer experience. Youll be acting as voice of the developer with our domain product and engineering teams to influence roadmaps using datadriven analysis and a working backwards mindset.
About the team
Our mission is to bring delightful useful and engaging thirdparty experiences powered by and accessible on Alexa to our customers that enhance business value for Amazon and our partners. We are a diverse group of technologists who bridge the gap between business development (BD) internal product and engineering teams and customers.
3 years of design implementation or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
4 years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development cloud computing systems engineering infrastructure security networking data & analytics) experience
Experience in technology/software sales presales or consulting
Demonstrated expertise in prompt engineering for large language models
Experience with two or more development languages such as Python Java JavaScript and TypeScript
Technical undergraduate degree in computer science MIS engineering or equivalent experience
Experience working within software development or Internetrelated industries
Experience with AWS technologies
Experience building prototypes and proofofconcepts with leading AI frameworks and platforms
Background in voice technology and conversational AI

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $118200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $204300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity signon payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
