POSITION: Microbiology Lab Tech I
FULLTIME: 12month assignment
LOCATION: Arden Hills MN (Onsite)
SCHEDULE:Flexibility in start times (within 6:00am 8:00am starting time) for an 8hour shift
PAY RANGE: $2025/HR

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Some Endotoxin testing and/or bioburden testing experience.
Familiarity with Graduated cylinder tinsnips scissors taking measurements.
Must be willing to learn.
Must have superior attention to detail.
There are approximately 18 people in department.
Half the team may be working in lab on any given day.
This is an office lab environment.
**Closed toed shoes required.
Lab techs typically wear lab coats glasses for disassembling products (catheters stents etc.
The purpose of the Microbiology Lab Tech I role is to conduct analytical testing on commercial stability and nonroutine samples. They are responsible for ensuring that all testing is carried out in accordance with cGMP.
Key Responsibilities
1. Primary Commitment to patient safety and product Quality.
2. Understands and comply with all the regulations governing the quality systems.
3. Delivery of key Quality and Performance Objectives.
4. Ensure that you are in compliance with all mandatory training requirements.
5. Your responsibilities will include raw material in process and finished product testing.
6. Complete documentation associated with analytical testing in a timely manner.
7. Ensure all analytical testing is carried out as defined in the Quality System.
8. Provide analytical support to process validations.
9. Participate in Regulatory Internal and Vendor audit programs as required.
10. Provide training technical guidance / trouble shooting to junior laboratory staff.
11. Review of Laboratory results and documentation.
12. Perform and assist with additional duties as may be directed by the QC supervisor.
Quality Systems Duties and Responsibilities:
Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.
Qualifications
AA Degree or equivalent work experience in related discipline.
